Detox!! - Part 1(修身)

Felt really light while playing the semis yesterday..think the detox really helps!

Maybe for the uninitiated, let me rewind two weeks back....

Faith 老师said in august.."I think it's time to detox liao.." I was all for it! cos..well..u know..after starting to be office worker..sit in office, lunch eat..sit in office..the physical exertion probably was limited to walking to the pantry (to top up on sinful snacks..probably negates the little physical efforts), fighting with the stapler..my body fats content was 25% the last I measured (which means that I am one-quarter fats?! what a horrible thought..)

Of course have been feeling lethargic lately, which I suspect was due to the kind of food that I have been piling on (cookies, meat of all kinds+ the accompanying fats..)

So detox = removing the toxic stuff = shitting a lot = no meat = no fats = LOSE WEIGHT = LOSE THE CHUNKY THIGHS

=D

Especially when the support group was so big (about 5 persons are detoxing together that I know), it was a going to be sure-win attempt!

A little bit on the detox plan..

FInd that a lot of diseases are 文明病。Heart diseases, cancer, kidney failures...Following Swee Sun closely, heard a lot of people asking him how to combat certain sickness, and you see a lot of similar cases - take medication for high heart disease, lead to liver or kidney failure; high blood pressure, cos of diet imbalance. Anemic and gastric problems, cos never had balanced diet or skip meals. Feels like of scary when you realised a lot of people take high blood pressure and heart pressure as common cases nowadays.

Anyway, the plan focus on adjusting the body's constitution back, by
(i) Stop toxin intake (meat, presevatives)
(ii) Remove toxin (take a lot fibre (scrubs intestine in tummy) and lecithin (get rid of fats in blood stream))
(iii) Take supplements (body have enough ingredients to start reparing)

Peng Lao Shi had used this on himself when he found a tumour on his tyroid, and since then have helped other cancer patients to adjust back their constitution to combat cancerous growth, and return to the path of recovery.

Think it's amazing how the detox plan can help people to joyce to cure her problematic skin problem, helped Alice 干妈 to build up her constitution again after suffering from serious bile duct problems.

So anyway I started two weeks back..got to wake up earlier than usual of course, to start with the apple. This time better, got mummy to help steam the sweet potato while I shower and change. So breakfast was sweet potato + whole bread + positrim & protein+ supplements.

Then it was going to office, when lunch was probably either 菜饭(literally, cos no meat so order all the vege..amazing that how many different vege you can choose cos usually only order one vege plus other meat), yong tau foo with only the veg, or pack salad and eat in office + whole bread. Then followed by Positrim + protein and all the supplements.

Repeat for dinner. And repeat for the next 13 days, until the whole course finishes :)

A lot of people will think that I will be starving for the whole period. Trust me. You will feel stuffed like nobody's business. And of course shit like no body's business also..

Talk about that, it's amazing how much gross stuff the intestine is holding?! The first 4-5 days was horrible to the max..the fart and shit smelled terribly horrible! Had to 忍 especially when someone is in close proximity..dont want to gas that person to death!! And also, for neurotic person like me, who cannot shit in common toilet, eating in during lunch time helps, especially with the availability of stand-alone disabled toilet (godsend!).

But felt damn productive with the regular output everyday! especially for people like me who dont shit everyday..it felt good!!! hahah~

Anyway everybody knows that the body is a very smart mechanism. When it knows it's the time to start repairing, it will start working automatically. By the 2nd day, I felt soooo tired...cos the body has kickstarted the recovery process...barely awake by 4-5pm....but by 6pm it was alert again. Thankfully this time round I didnt ache much, not like the last round when my lower back was aching like mad, cos Peng Lao Shi explained before, old injuries or the weakest part of your body will start reacting by aching, or flaring up. I remember Ace suffered quite a bit, cos her sinus became quite bad during the detox. But after the whole course, her sinus actually became better during normal times!

After the first week, can really see the effect
(i) face became dewy (finally!)
(ii) thighs became slimmer (finally!!)
(iii) the bowels felt so much lighter (Yes!!)

Going to measure my body fats again tmr..see whether it has dropped from 25%

Think next time I detox, will start a detox diary, like 干妈!
