But pool was freaking cold at 720am. Was hesistating whether if want to go ahead since already in gear, or give up..but well..wtf. Dived headlong into the pool and IT WAS FREAKING *&%(*)^ COLD!!!!!!!! Ended up cant breathe properly cos gasping everything I go back into the water. So only did 10 laps. Brrr...
After a later-than-scheduled breakfast, it was heading to the tailor (damage 3 pants, 1 skirt and 1 shirt only 200+). And meeting Lil, Junzi and xiu at Siam to have lunch and then to the stadium.
Drumming up to go
Since she had already been here for a few days earlier, Qiao's group had checked out a couple of places already. And it was to another nice eating place next to Siam Center (why my blog macham become foood blog already..)
It's called Nua Papaya Salad.
Apparently a lot of accolades.
While waiting for lunch..
This fried chicken is super nice!!! We tau par 2 packets of this and another pork sausage to the games venue..
Guessed we were to engrossed in the food that we nearly almost forgot the time to leave the place in time to catch the coach from Lil's hotel. But we were lucky..the taxi drive sent us to the place in record time :) Then it was an hr's ride to the games venue...ZzzzzZzzZZzzZ..
Finally reached! There was 1 hour to kill ..super boring -.-"
And then Chin and Kim Choo came with a big bag "otak" - big in the sense that there was this big bag of the, and big cos it's super long that it was actually really a full arm's length long! It wasn't meant for us as Chin's Thai friend (another hockey player from her era) bought them and told Chin to give to our players. So hospitable!~
Super long otak
It's actually some glutinous rice with coconut. Nice! Sharing with guat on the first one, but I had another one by my own later
Er...yeah, it wasn't meant for us but not that we care :p
Both teams doing the last ra-ra before starting.
The full game score was 1-1 draw..it was quite a roller-coaster game..gek sim..
Singapore's last short corner in the last min of 2nd half. Horn went off. Deciding last ball to decide our fate. But alas....didn't covert.
Btw we had 9 or 10 short corners, about 3 attempted shots on goal, and 1 conversion.sigh...........................
So it's left to Msia and Thai (both ladies' and men's game today to decide our guys and girls will make it to the finals.
Knowing that our fate is left in other people's hands really doesn't feel good.
