Something

Ahhh..no nice MV. But imagine hearing this on the most amazing rainy day that I have ever remembered..the rain never stopped for the whole day.

I still maintain that this is the best soundtrack that I ever own.

Guru of Chai

It has been a long time since I have been to such an entertaining play. A practically one-man show telling the story of 3 main characters, but I think at one point in time there were more like 7-8 characters, all played by one person. And with practically no other props than lights, sound, rich songs (I wish I knew what was being sung!) and well..one puppet parrot. Read more about the production here.

It's amazing to see one so good at his craft. And passionately loves his job too.

It's not easy to make your passion your work, hearing that harsh realities often crack those rose-tinted glasses off pretty fast. But for those who could, it would have been the most wonderful thing as like what they always say, then you would never have to work for the rest of your life.

(If anybody is interested to catch The Guru of Chai, good luck cos heard it would be full house or selected seats left until the show closes this weekend!)

绝路

"Blind Alley" by Metifritti
(SourceDeviantart.com)

The world is like that, there will definitely be somebody who lose out*.

Wintry weather in the little red dot

I never thought it would happen, but for once, the weather outside the office was freezing as I stepped out of the office building. The wind was shipping my hair around my face and I jolted a shiver before I skipped into the lift to get to my car.

I was also contemplating if I should wear a sweater at home. Sans aircon. I figure that the weather should be around 25-26 deg c, which should considered comfortable given that the temperature went down to low 20s deg c earlier this month.

Gosh, low 20deg c? Singapore sounds like some temperate countries going into the fall season. I was fighting the temptation to buy a long sleeve running top for the fact that the cold weather was deterrant to go running in normal singlet running tees that I only have got (not excuses la..I really scared cold one).

Now sitting at home, with the google box showing pilots freezing in mid-air in the show "The Day after Tomorrow", with all the wrath of mother earth culminating to a destructive wrath of a tsunamic wave hitting through the streets of NYC, while I remember the 37 deg c weather when I was last there. Sends another shiver....spooky.

Perhaps I am thinking too much; should just take the opportunity to enjoy cuddling in blanket a while more.

贺年片

Ok, I was intrigued must because I saw the trailer on tv, with none other than "双节棍" playing in the background. I wonder how Jay Chou remembers his English lines..and if he eat up his words as badly as he enunciate his Mandarin.

But anyway am more interested in this. 大卡司耶。
